Matrix Screensavers

The "digital rain" frequently seen on computer screens in the popular 1999 science fiction film The Matrix represents the composition of the virtual reality environment called the "Matrix". The downward-flowing green characters were ideally suited for a screensaver, so it didn't take long before the first ones were published, and they remain popular today.
