Ambient Flock
Ambient Flock is a 3D OpenGL screensaver for Windows PCs, first released in 2001 and featuring smooth organic flocking motion leaving behind soft blended tails which are blown around by the wind. It is a real-time screen saver, with infinitely unique and colorful variations. It inspired the creation of the Fireflies screensaver for Windows and Mac.
