screensaver removeal

I removed the screensaver from the downloads but when i go into the lockcreen and go to screensavers its still in the drop down list. How do i remove it from there? Thanks Carol

• Hello Carol,

  To uninstall a screensaver, you'll need to go to your Windows Settings panel (the cogwheel in the Start menu), choose Apps, locate "3D Aurora 1.1", click on that once, and then choose "Remove". This will launch the uninstallation program.

  Once you've gone through the steps, the screensaver will be removed and it should no longer appear in the Screen Saver Settings panel. Please make sure you don't have that panel open as that may interfere with the uninstallation process (it can't remove the screensaver when it's active in the panel's preview window).

  If the above fails, you can try to remove the screensaver file manually. Open the File Explorer, then browse to your Windows folder, and the SysWOW64 folder within. Find the file named "3D Aurora", right-click it and choose "Delete".
