XKCD Starfield Screensaver Needs Update From 32-bit version to 64-bit version For Mac
This great screensaver must be updated from a 32-version to a 64-bit version, or it loses its functionality on Mac computers with the latest macOS versions. Would you please upgrade the Mac xkcd screensaver? It is the closest screensaver to the old Windows “Flying Through Space” screensaver that is usable on a Mac. The original xkcd screensaver is still Version 1 and has never been updated. The time is now. - Please!

Unfortunately, this screensaver employs Adobe Flash technology and at this time we don't have a way to create screensavers for macOS Catalina using Flash.
With each major update to macOS, and now with Catalina in particular, Apple makes changes that cause many screensavers (and other apps) to stop working. If we were to somehow update the XKCD screensaver for Catalina, it's quite likely that compatibility will once again break with the next release of macOS.
I'm afraid we simply don't have the resources to keep up with these changes, and demand for this screensaver is not high enough to justify putting a price tag on it.
It still runs fine on Windows, thankfully, but that's of no use to you, of course.
