I downloaded the 3D maze and can open it but not sure how to make it run as my choice of screensaver. Still getting the other default screensaver opt

I see that it has .scr so thought that by opening it it would automatically be added to the screensaver options but it doesn't. help!!

  Thanks for posting to the message board.

  Opening a .scr file will launch the screensaver, but it does not install the screensaver. For that, you would have to right-click the .scr file and select "Install". However, that will only install it temporarily: it will work as long as it's the selected screensaver, but as soon as you change to a different screensaver, it will disappear from the list of screensavers in the Screen Saver Settings panel. It's a bit clumsy, unfortunately.

  To install the screensaver in a more permanent matter, you will need to copy the .scr file to the Windows folder on your computer hard drive.

  Basically, once you've copied the .scr file to your Windows folder (or the System32 or SYSWOW64 sub-folder), the next time you open the Screen Saver Settings panel, the 3D Maze screensaver should appear in the list.
