Any chance of an update?
I'm running Mac OSX 10.13 and would like to know when will we get an update to this screensaver?

Unfortunately not, no. The author of the screensaver has released a System 47 Viewer program last year (see here), but this cannot be run as a screensaver.
It's very difficult to maintain screensavers for macOS because Apple continuously makes changes to the system without any regard for backward compatibility.
