Installation instructions

For Microsoft Windows computers:

  1. Open the ZIP archive you downloaded by double-clicking on it, then click "Extract all".
  2. Enter the location of the Windows folder on your hard drive (usually C:\Windows\), or use the "Browse" button to browse to it, and click "Extract". You may need to confirm you want to apply administrator privileges to extract to the Windows folder.
  3. The next time you open Windows's Screen Saver Settings panel, "LavaLamp" should appear in the list among your other screensavers.
