Screen Saver not working

My screen saver is not working I am using a standard Mac screen saver (not my own) and have tried different ones, to no avail

  • Are you saying none of the screensavers installed on your Mac, as seen in the Screen Savers panel within System Preferences, are working for you? What happens when you select one and choose "Preview"? Does the screensaver work then?

    If the screensaver work when you click the "Preview" button, make sure you have the wait time ("Start after:") set to something other than "Never".

    Let me know what happens exactly and I'll do my best to help you further.

  • Ok I fixed it. Finally Googled enough to find a suggestion to delete the screen saver preferences from the Library folder. Thanks, Rob.
