Bought Sim Aquarium 3 but is no longer working

I recently had a trial version of Sim Aquarium 3 on windows 10. I loved it so much that I bought a copy so that I could have a good selection of tanks & fish.
I loved it. It worked & I couldn't be happier with such a beautiful screensaver.
...UNTIL...
...It stopped working...

1...It wouldn't load anymore.
2... The once large selection of fish diminished to the fish that are available in the trial.
3... I contacted them, sent them a ticket... All I got from them was that they were on vacation. I haven't heard from them in weeks...

I would very much love that they could fix my problem, but they are not even replying to my ticket.

...This makes me want my money back.....

• Hi Disgruntled, thanks for posting. I'm sorry to read about your experience with the Sim Aquarium 3D screensaver. I understand that the full version used to work, but it has now reverted back to the trial version, and stopped working entirely?

  After ordering the full version, did you receive an activation code, and did you use that code to activate the full version from inside the screensaver? Also, do you have the latest version of the screensaver? It appears we had an outdated version on this website, and so I have just updated that file to the latest version.

  Can you tell me what happens when you try to start the screensaver now?

  It seems I must have had an older version of the screensaver. I downloaded the newer version, & it now works properly again.

  I have had the same problem and was also told that they were 'On Vacation' How do I get the latest version, (mine is version 3)?
  It just tell me that the program is closing? I bought the Sim Aquarium 3 and also the Clown fish Aquarium 3D

  If you downloaded from Screensavers Planet, you will have the latest version.

  Did the trial version work, and did you manage to activate the screensaver with the license code that was sent to you? Or has the screensaver never worked for you?

• Hi I activated from the trial version and after a few niggles it settled down to a stable operation then it seems that after every Windows 10 update it falls over after about 3 or four seconds with a warning notice? I have since tried various downloads after uninstalling each one and deleting my previous download but this time I am stuck. I am also trying to incorporate the Nemo Clown fish into the activity am I expecting too much?

• You're certainly not expecting too much of the screensaver, but it's possible that your computer is not up to the task, or that there's a compatibility issue. In any case, I'm afraid this would be a technical issue that only the folks at Digital Illusions Software will be able to assist you with. The only thing I can recommend is to make sure the Windows drivers for the video adapter in your computer are up-to-date.

  It's no fun when something won't work as intended, especially when you paid for it! If you've reached out to the developers, I'm sure they'll get back to you soon.
