AppStartSaver
Hey guys
Have you found an alternative to the outdated AppStartSaver, which is not running on the actual iOS?

Hello Thomas,
I'm afraid not, and with the release of macOS Catalina it's likely to become impossible to start an app from a screensaver, as all screensavers will be running in a sandboxed environment where they can't access other files or apps.
Unfortunately, that means we can't ever have Johnny Castaway as a screensaver again on Mac. In fact, most 3rd-party screensavers are likely to stop working.
Having said that, we'll remain on the lookout for a solution.
