Any reports of your screens savers interfering with Excel?
I've used your screen savers for years (Hyperspace is my favorite) but since I've had Windows-11 25H2 I've had problems with Excel Handles disappearing on Shapes. I've tested and confirmed this issue is caused by many of your screen savers. Specifically, after the screen saver engages, when it comes out and I continue with Excel, the Shape Handles (rectangles and ovals) disappear. I've confirmed this on Hyperspace, Plasma, Solar winds, Euphoria and others. I don't see a revision history for any of the screen savers and wonder when these were last updated, and on what OS were these tested on. I'd like to continue using your screen savers but they can't interfere with Excel.

Hello Hugo,
All the screensavers you mention are from the same author, Really Slick Screensavers, and most were last updated around 2010, in the days of Windows 7.
This is the first time I've heard of an issue with Excel, but it's not uncommon for old screensavers to have minor side effects on modern computers, the assumptions they were built with at the time may no longer hold true on Windows 11.
In this case it's possible that these OpenGL-powered 3D screensavers running full-screen cause some incompatibility issue with your computer specifically.
If you are using multiple monitors and you can bring up this issue on demand on your computer by opening an Excel spreadsheet, starting the screensaver and then closing it again, you might try going to File > Settings > General and then setting the "When using multiple displays" option to "Best compatibility".
Another option could be to press the Windows key + Control + Shift + B on your keyboard when you've exited the screensaver and can't see the visuals in Excel. This resets the Windows graphics driver, it only takes a few seconds (and flickers).
Unfortunately the screensavers are unlikely to ever be updated, so we'd have to look for workarounds that allow you to keep enjoying them without trouble.
Hope that helps. Let me know what you find and if you have any further questions.
